I don’t know about you but I usually have more fun at impromptu events. I usually don’t make plans for the weekend and just go with the flow. It seems to be more exciting when you don’t know what you are going to end up doing.
According to a behavioural psychologist, when you make plans for your weekend . . . even FUN plans . . . it actually ruins the weekend.Once you schedule something, it makes it feel more like WORK.
You start worrying about where you have to be, it affects your ability to be flexible and do other things . . . and then it stops feeling like fun and starts feeling like an obligation.
The experts say- Don’t schedule things for a specific time. Just say “Let’s meet up Saturday afternoon” instead of “Let’s meet up at 2:00 P.M.” . . . and that flexibility will help help you actually look forward to it.
I hope you have a great weekend, whatever you end up doing ~ chrislukas
