Pizza is better for you than most cereals.
In an article in the Chicago Tribune, a dietitian says you should eat a slice of pizza for breakfast instead of cereal. Pizza and cereal have basically the same number of calories, but pizza has more protein and will keep you full longer.
Her name is Chelsey Amer, and she says it would actually be BETTER for you to eat pizza for breakfast instead of cereal.
Quote, “You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories.
“[But] pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full . . . throughout the morning. [And it] contains more fat and much less sugar, so you will not experience a quick sugar crash.”
So, if you have leftover pizza in the fridge…go for it. If you’d rather have a fresh pizza, good luck finding a pizza place that’s open at 6am.
