Where To Dispose Of Your Christmas Tree

Each Municipality in Essex County has their own rules for when, and where, to dispose of your Christmas tree.

Just look for your community below:


A Christmas tree and yard waste collection will be provided in mid January.  You are asked to refer to your collection calendar.

Monday, January 15th , 2018 will be the first day of collection.  Put your tree out on your scheduled day of garbage pick up.

Two special Christmas tree collection days are planned for Monday, January 8th and Monday, January 15th for the entire town.  Place your tree at the curb on either day.

Place your trees on the curb, no later than 7AM on Wednesday, January 3rd and Thursday, January 4th, 2018.

Christmas Trees can be dropped off at any of the following locations until January 31st:
Comber Community Centre
Centennial Park
Leffler Park
Fire Station #2
Woodslee Memorial Park
304 Rourke Line Road

Christmas Trees are to be doped off at one of the following locations:
River Canard Park
Gil Maure Park
Optimist Park
Heritage Park
Vince Marcotte Park
Public Works Building

Residents may drop off live Christmas trees at one of the designated municipal locations until January 30th:
Co-An Park Parking Lot
Harrow and Colchester South Community Centre
Kinsmen Field House Parking Lot
