Kane Brown’s Emotional Tribute To His Drummer

Kane Brown’s originally scheduled concert for Friday, October 16th at Staples Center in Los Angeles has been postponed until January 9th in the wake of Brown’s drummer’s tragic death over the weekend.

Kenny Dixon was killed in a single-car accident outside of Nashville on Saturday, October 12th.

Billboard reports that fans can hang onto their originally purchased tickets and they will be honoured on January 9th.

In other news, The Tennessean reports that speed caused the crash that killed Dixon.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Dixon was travelling at a high rate of speed shortly after midnight when his car ran off the highway and hit a tree head-on.

 

On Wednesday, Oct 16th, Kane was honoured with an award as one of the CMT Artists of the Year. And he had a hard time with his emotions in accepting the award as he paid tribute to his friend.
