A number of country artists have postponed their tours over fears of the spreading coronavirus.

Citing recent health and safety concerns, Shelton Blake has postponed the final two weekends of his Friends and Heroes 2020 Tour, including the scheduled stop at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Saturday, March 21st.

Previously purchased tickets for the five remaining dates will be honoured at the to-be-announced rescheduled dates in spring 2021, and refunds will be available at the point of purchase. Please consult venue websites for updates and further information.

Kenny Chesney has decided to postpone the first several shows on his Chillaxification Tour due to fears of coronavirus. Currently, seven stadiums and four amphitheatre shows have been postponed beginning with the kick-off date on Saturday, April 18th and running through May 28th. Organizers are working to find alternate dates later in the touring season, and hope to have them figured out within six weeks. Those unable to attend the newly scheduled shows will be refunded.

“You can’t take risks without really understanding the consequences. In times of uncertainty, I won’t take chances with those I love. I can’t imagine, as much as we love being out there playing for the fans, being able to do that through the worry our nation is experiencing. So, while we wait to see how this terrible virus is going to impact our country, I think it’s only fair to move these first several dates now. We are figuring some of this out as we go, but I know people buy airline tickets, book hotel rooms – and I wanted to try to give everyone as much time to sort that out as possible.”

Dan + Shay are pulling the plug on the spring leg of The (Arena) Tour due to coronavirus. The tour has already been rescheduled, and previously purchased tickets will be honoured for all new dates. The tour will resume on July 30th.

Dan + Shay issued a statement that reads in part,

“After the mandatory postponement of our Philadelphia show, and several others in the coming weeks, we have made the collective decision (with our team and health officials) to postpone the spring leg of THE (ARENA) TOUR. These shows mean the world to us, and it was important that they be postponed and not cancelled, but more than the shows, our fans mean the world to us, and protecting their safety is the number one priority. We want the shows to be memorable, and not experienced with fear.”

The final weekend of Jason Aldean’s We Back Tour has been postponed. Jason posted a video to Twitter explaining that the cancellation was out of his hands — it was mandated by the city and state.

And, Chris Stapleton has rescheduled four concerts on his All-American Road Show Tour. He posted the news on social media.
