4 REASONS NOT TO REGRET THAT EMBARRASSING TATTOO

February 15th, 2012 . kro

  • They keep you young: As long as you have tattoos, no matter how buttoned up you have become, you can always say, “I used to be a rock star.”
  • They can make you laugh: Keep a sense of humor about yourself always. Tattoos help you do that. You can’t take yourself too seriously with Wile E. Coyote on your forearm.
  • They help you bond: If someone else has a tattoo they also “regret,” you can commiserate and laugh about the follies of youth. Together.
  • Regrets are pointless: The fact is, life is short. “Permanence” is really impermanent and all kinds of other deep, deep stuff. Life moves fast and your tattoos mark a time when you had a different mindset. Embrace that.

DON’T KNOW ABOUT THIS ONE? ..THEY MAY NEED TO RESORT TO LASER REMOVAL..THE ABOVE TIPS JUST DON’T QUITE CUT IT…LOL, KARA

Limit the salt in your diet..first by knowing where it is coming from!!!

February 10th, 2012 . kro

BREAD IS THE BIGGEST SOURCE OF SALT IN OUR DIETS:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a report  which contained the surprising finding that bread and rolls are the top source of salt in Americans’ diet.

The reason is not that bread is particularly salty, but because we eat so much of it as a staple of our diets that the sodium in it adds up.

Health officials say that Americans eat too much salt, mostly from processed and restaurant foods, which increases the risk of high blood pressure.

The top 10 sources of salt in our diets are:

  1. Bread and rolls
  2. Cold cuts and cured meats
  3. Pizza
  4. Fresh and processed poultry
  5. Soups
  6. Fast-food hamburgers and sandwiches
  7. Cheese
  8. Spaghetti and other pasta dishes
  9. Meatloaf and other meat dishes
  10. Snacks like potato chips, pretzels and popcorn.

IT’S GOOD TO FIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR KIDS?

February 7th, 2012 . kro

A new survey found that arguing once a week can be the secret to strong, happy couples — as long as the arguing isn’t abusive. 44 percent of pairs believe that fighting ‘helps keep the lines of communication open.’

It also found that fighting in front of children can be a good thing — provided the irritation is dealt with respectfully and couples are able to show kids that they have moved on quickly and positively.

There’s even a strategy to a healthy argument. ‘A soft start-up is the best way’, according to Professor Doherty, who says that a hard opener – attacking or blaming, for example – immediately puts a partner on the defensive.

what is your solution?..turns out I disagree with the experts!!!

VS
8 SIGNS YOU SHOULD……
1. You don’t talk anymore.

Do you spend time talking — really talking — with your partner, or do you resort to talking about the weather (or other trivial stuff) only? When you’ve stopped really communicating, it’s time to ..???????.

2. You don’t spend time together
Movie night has been replaced with “guys’ night.” Dates are a thing of the past. Trying to pin your partner to even hang out together is like nailing Jello to the wall. If your partner does not want to spend time with you (or the reverse), it’s time to …..?????.
3. You fight all the time.
Sure, some amount of fighting is normal in relationships. Relationships (no matter WHAT others say) are hard work. But if fighting becomes the only interaction you two have, it’s time to ….???????
4. You don’t have sex
Sex is a very important part of any relationship. It helps bond you to your partner, and provides a sense of intimacy. No sex = a problem. It’s time to ……..????????..
5. You sleep in separate bedrooms
Very few couples can survive living in separate bedrooms for very long. It’s not healthy, and very little good can come of it. It’s time to…???????

6. Your relationship has more bad than good.

Yes, relationships are hard. Yes, they all have unique challenges. But when you can estimate that your relationship has more bad than good, it’s time to …????????.

7. You think about breaking up — a lot
Once you start thinking about life without your partner often, and it doesn’t make you weep, it’s time to reevaluate why you two are together in the first place….and it’s time to ….. ??????

8. You’re not happy.

Your partner isn’t happy. Happiness, my friends, is worth a lot. If your relationship doesn’t make you happy and fulfilled, it’s time to ………????????

EXPERTS SAY …THESE ARE 8 SIGNS YOU SHOULD TAKE A BREAK FROM YOUR RELATIONSHIP

I SAY…THESE ARE 8 SIGNS YOU NEED TO SPEND MORE QUALITY TIME TOGETHER AND RECONNECT

As a female I can say that when we are not being appreciated (aka taken for granted) and not being made a priority, fights WILL ensue (often the fights have nothing to do with what you are yelling about!!) Also, you will get less and less of what you want in the “extra-curricular deptartment” if we are last on your list~!!!

Spend quality time together and really appreciate the other…and things will get better!!!

you have to watch this…brain power times 10
