at the Santa Clara Valley, California Hospital.Chris Janson made his visit as part of Musicians on Call, a nationwide program to bring more music to hospital rooms.
Janson — who called it a “blessed afternoon” on Twitter — was accompanied Thursday by his harmonica player as he stopped by the rooms of several pediatric patients.
He connected with the kids and laughed with them and maybe took their pain away a little for a day.
The CEO of this visitation of this program says “Music is more than an escape or a distraction. It’s a creative force and a connection. Music makes you feel less alone, and often it will give you energy and energy helps heal.”
