Carrie Underwood Thinks Brad Paisley is ‘Crazy’
In addition to being his CMA Awards co-host, Brad Paisley has tapped Carrie Underwood to collaborate with him musically several times. Their latest pairing is featured on Brad’s Moonshine In The Trunk CD and it’s called “High Life.”
Brad says that even though she ultimately trusts his musical instincts, Carrie questions Brad’s initial ideas.
“Oh, every time! Every time! This time included. It usually ends with her . . . with me getting what I want, which is her actually singing on it anyway. (laughs) But yeah, I think she probably always starts out with a little bit of ‘he’s got to be crazy,’ because I am, but I also think that she has gotten to the point where she’s like, ‘Alright. Well, he’s probably crazy, and I’ve thought that every time, and okay, I’m gonna trust that it’ll turn out okay ’cause last time did.’ And that’s a good place to be for us.”
Brad performed his latest single, “Crushin’ It,” during Sunday night’s ACM Awards. The song is the third single from Moonshine In The Trunk.
