…when it comes to other women. #1: No touching other women! Read on…
Reba. Jake Owen. And of course, Blake and Miranda. Time apart puts pressure on any marriage. But throw in beautiful peers and crowds of adoring fans, and that can create a lot of temptation and a lot of trust issues.
Thomas Rhett knows this, and understands why his wife, Lauren, has given him rules to live by.
Rhett tells Taste of Country that he’s not allowed to have girls on the bus, no having girls put their arms around him during meet and greets the rules, etc. He even used a body double for parts of the “It Goes Like This” video.
“As strict as rules as they are, those kind of things have to be enforced for me to keep my guard up and for her to trust that what (I say is) going on on the road is really what’s going on on the road. Meanwhile, he says his two-and-a-half-year marriage to Lauren is strong. Recent news of those other high-profile breakups didn’t make them worry. In fact, it made them feel even stronger in their relationship.
