Keith Urban surprised Taylor Swift’s 45,000 fans gathered at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Friday, October 2nd when he showed up on her stage. Keith and Taylor performed his latest Number One hit “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” as well as “Somebody Like You,” on which Taylor sang lead.

The pop superstar introduced Keith saying,

“Someone absolutely incredible is about to come out on the stage. This is someone who has sold 20 million records. This is someone who, more importantly, is an amazing human being. I actually opened up for his tour years ago. He’s been so wonderful to me. He’s one of the most talented people who’s ever been born. Toronto, Keith Urban is here to see you.”

After the show, Keith Instagrammed a photo of himself and Taylor, who was decked out in a black leather unitard, which obviously reminded Keith of Olivia Newton-John’s character in Grease.

Grease is the word!!! Hey Taylor – u killed it last nite – thank u for the invite – ridiculous fun!!!!!! And Toronto? Love for days!!!!! Thank YOU too. – KU #1989TourToronto

On a side note, her two concert stint also saw Taylor tap into Toronto’s Blue Jays craze by incorporating the team’s name as a sample into her performance of Blank Space. This is funny because recently, a Blue Jays fan made a viral parody of “Blank Space” that paid tribute to the team.

And for you Blue Jays fans…
