Thomas Rhett Ready To Headline

In less than two weeks from now, Thomas Rhett will kick off his first-ever co-headlining tour with Brett Eldredge. The CMT-sponsored Suits & Boots tour opens on October 29th in New York City, and Thomas says he’s both excited and scared to make the leap to headliner.

“Yeah, it blows my mind and terrifies me at the same time. You know I think, for me, I’m sort of glad that I’ve had somewhat of a steady climb rather than like a one single changed it all and I went from playing clubs to stadiums cause I think you get to learn a lot about you as an artist. I think you get to fail enough times to learn how to never do that failure again, so for me and the band, we’ve worked out so many kinks over the past three or four years that I feel like . . . and we’ve headlined enough shows to know, I think, how to put on a headlining tour, and it also helps to have somebody like Brett who’s done the same thing that we can go co-headline this thing together and learn a lot about each other and learn a lot about headlining and learn a lot about what it would look like one day if we were doing like our own big time arena headlining tour, if that makes any sense.”

The Suits & Boots tour currently runs through December 11th in Chicago. The trek also features Danielle Bradbery.
