Old Dominion’s debut album, Meat & Candy, is available everywhere. The project was released on Friday, November 6th and features their chart-topping debut single, “Break Up With Him.”

The unique album title began as a joke, but group member Trevor Rosen says it made perfect sense.

“It’s funny. Well, when we were trying to pick songs for the album a lot of the ones we had were ear candy, kind of catchy songs and so we were saying, ‘We have a lot of candy songs but we’ve also written a lot of songs with meat. We sort of need to balance it out with meat and candy, and Shane McAnally, our producer, was like, ‘Oh yeah, you should just call the album Meat & Candy,’ and he was kind of kidding around but we were like, ‘You know what? Done! That’s a great name,’ so it stuck . . . Meat & Candy.”

Old Dominion continues on the road, playing headlining dates through the end of December.

The group has been tapped to join Kenny Chesney on his Spread The Love stadium tour dates next year. They toured with him this summer on his The Big Revival tour.
