“Meant to Be,” the hit collaboration between pop singer Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line, has so far spent a total of 14 weeks at Number One on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. According to Billboard, “Meant to Be” now holds the Hot Country Songs record for a female-led song, surpassing Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” which held the Number One spot for 13 weeks.

FGL’s Tyler Hubbard co-wrote “Meant to Be.” Tyler and Brian Kelley say working with Bebe Rexha was a fun experience.

“It was great. I mean she’s wild man, she’s crazy. Anything she thinks she says, so it’s always fun working with her, being in the studio, getting to do these rehearsals and all these different things we’ve got to do together has been a blast. (Brian) It’s cool to bring a couple of different worlds together and watch ‘em collide and watch how beautiful it is, man.”

FGL just received their sixth nomination for the ACM Awards’ Vocal Duo of the Year. The 53rd annual ACM Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 15th on CBS.
