Kenny Chesney Breaks Record in Philadelphia

Kenny Chesney broke his own attendance record when he played Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday, June 9th, drawing 55,238 fans. This was the superstar’s ninth time to play the home of the Philadelphia Eagles, and the team’s owner, Jeffrey Lurie, head coach Doug Pederson, and players, including quarterback Carson Wentz, turned up to party with Kenny as well as bringing their Super Bowl trophy on stage.

In appreciation, Kenny sang “Boys of Fall” for the first time on his Trip Around The Sun tour. He said, “I wanted to play it for the first time this summer in the home of the Super Bowl Champions.”

Kenny was also joined by David Lee Murphy to perform their current Top Five hit, “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.

The Trip Around The Sun tour plays in Virginia Beach on Thursday, June 14th with special guest Old Dominion.
