Luke Bryan On Singing With His Friends

Luke Bryan had a great time teaming up with Darius Rucker, Jason Aldean and Charles Kelley on the new single “Straight To Hell,” a remake of the Drivin’ N Cryin’ song from the late 80’s featured on Darius’ When Was The Last Time album.

Luke was a big fan of Drivin’ N Cryin’s original version of the song, and he says that the answer to working with Darius is always a yes.

“If you don’t like Darius Rucker you have a serious problem with just humanity. This thing kind of came together obviously with the song, so when Darius called me about that song I’m like . . . You obviously worry about what Country radio’s saying, you know, ‘I’m going straight to hell,’ we’ll see how that works, but the song’s fun and the group of people are fun and I was happy to get on it, and the video’s one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while. It’s just tons of fun. We had fun. I mean dressing up like old cowboy gangsters in an old saloon was a pretty fun day.”
