Goonies and Lethal Weapon actress dies
The actress who appeared in all four “Lethal Weapon” films has died.
Mary Ellen Trainor, who played the role of Mrs. Walsh in the 1985 film “The Goonies” also appeared in some movies directed by her then-husband, Robert Zemeckis, died at home in California at the age of 62.
Trainor made her big-screen debut as of Elaine, the kidnapped sister of Kathleen Turner’s character, in “Romancing the Stone” back in 1984.
She and Zemeckis later collaborated on “Back to the Future Part II”, “Death Becomes Her” and the Oscar winning “Forrest Gump” before they divorced in 2000.
