Celine Dion to honour Paris victims at American Music Awards this Sunday
American Music Awards air this Sunday night.
Jennifer Lopez hosts the 2015 honors live from LA’s Microsoft Theater.
Taylor Swift leads nominations with 6, followed by Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd with 5.
Performers include Ariana Grande, Carrie Underwood, Coldplay, Demi Lovato, 5 Seconds of Summer, Gwen Stefani, Luke Bryan w/Karen Fairchild, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Nick Jonas, One Direction, Selena Gomez, and Walk the Moon.
And Celine Dion will be performing in French to pay her respects to those affected by the attacks in Paris.
“We felt it was important to show our solidarity in light of the recent events in Paris and all around world,” the show’s producer, Larry Klein, said in a statement. “Celine’s performance will help us express our feelings through song when words do not suffice.”
