A Thousand Horses just kicked off their summer tour with headliner Darius Rucker over the weekend. The four-man band have traded in their van for a tour bus for the first time in their career, and they say the bus will be loaded down with fun and games with which to keep themselves entertained during the day at each tour stop.

A Thousand Horses members Zach Brown and Michael Hobby say:

“We’re gonna add our summertime party box to the bus for the summer tour. It’s gonna have like corn hole, ladder golf, grills, chairs. (Michael) Oh yeah, we’re gonna be setting some stuff up every day. (Bill) It’s gonna have to be a huge box. (Zach) It’s gonna be a big box of fun. (laughs) You’re there all day in these places. There’s not really . . .you know, we don’t really have a car to go anywhere so you gotta entertain yourself somehow.”

A Thousand Horses debut album, Southernality, will be in stores on June 9th.
