Fans started lining up long before the 1 p.m. parking lot open to plant the flag of the No Shoes Nation at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Saturday,May 2nd, the first stadium show of the summer on Kenny Chesney’s The Big Revival tour. Kenny has teamed with Jason Aldean’s Burn It Down tour for the dozen shows on the schedule. Kenny told the crowd:

“It’s an absolute honor to be here tonight and open the 49ers Stadium as the first music act. To feel your love, feel you energy . . .. We are here tonight for one reason: because you are here with us tonight! That you care about music, that you have it in your life . . .”

Kenny’s set last for two hours, with Jason returning to join him on “Summer of 69”, “Hurt So Good” and “The Only Way I Know.”

The show drew a crowd of nearly 46,000.

Kenny added:

“I know it’s gonna be rockin’ any time we come to the Bay area. Maybe it’s the year away, maybe it was the full moon, but the crowd at Levi’s Stadium was one of the best crowds we’ve played to ever. They brought it hard, pushed us in the best way – and really took me and the band up with their singing, their cheering, their energy.”

Kenny kicked off his The Big Revival 2015 tour in March with two sold-out nights at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
