CMT will sponsor a fall tour featuring co-headliners Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge. The dates haven’t yet been announced, but the name of the trek is the Boots & Suits tour, and as far as Thomas is concerned, the pairing couldn’t be better.

“I think it’s the perfect combination. Me and Brett have gotten to know each other these past couple years and kind of have realized over these past couple years that our personalities are a lot alike in very different ways. Our sense of humor is pretty spot-on with each other so when we were approached about doing a co-headline tour we were like, ‘Let’s do it, but how do we make this something that nobody’s seen before,’ so the crowd is never gonna know who’s going on first. It’s gonna be different every night. We’re gonna come out and do and encore together. We’re gonna do songs that you probably would never in a million years imagine us singing together, and it’s really just gonna be a big stand-up comedy country music show. It’s gonna be enertaining from the time you walk in the doors until the time you leave . . . At least that’s our plan.”

The Boots & Suits tour will also feature Danielle Bradbery.

Thomas is currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line. He’s also flying up the charts with “Crash And Burn,” the debut single from his upcoming sophomore album

Brett’s new album, called Illinois, will be released on September 11th. He’s also out on the road, but with headliner Darius Rucker on the Southern Style tour.
