Darius Rucker celebrated his latest Number One hit, “Homegrown Honey,” with a party in Nashville on Monday, August 24th. Darius co-wrote the song with Lady A’s Charles Kelley and Nathan Chapman.

Darius says achieving this feat with his good friend Charles makes it all the more meaningful.

“It’s awesome! One of the reasons is because it’s Charles. We go back, and I’ve loved Charles for a long time and the fact that we wrote it together and the fact that it’s Nathan’s first is really awesome to be a part (of), cause I remember my first with ‘Don’t Think.’ I’d never heard of a Number One party and there we were, and so it’s really cool, and I love the song so much. It’s really cool to be here having this party. It’s a testament to (record label) Capitol. I mean, they worked their butts off on this song and, I mean, I’m just proud of it.”

Darius is now climbing the charts with “Southern Style,” the second single from his album of the same name.

His Southern Style tour continues this weekend with shows in Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; and Virginia Beach, VA with special guests Brett Eldredge, Brothers Osborne and A Thousand Horses.
