NOVEMBER 13: Join Neighbourhood Watch Windsor and Constable Todd Pearce from Windsor Police for a presentation on drug and alcohol abuse.
This presentation, taking place at 6:30 pm at The Safety Village, 7911 Forest Glade Drive, Windsor, will educate you on how to recognize substances as well as what to look for if you think someone you know may be at risk.
Constable Pearce will be covering best practices on how to talk to your children and family about drugs and alcohol, laws, bylaws and information on warrants.
Residents looking to learn about how to start a Neighbourhood Watch in their community are also encouraged to attend. Representatives from Neighbourhood Watch, along with Windsor Police Service, will be on site to answer any questions and to teach you how to make your home less susceptible to crime.
Presentation is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.
