Taking Steps Against Breast Cancer – 5k/10k Run

SEPTEMBER 27 – Join the fight against cancer at the Canadian Cancer Society’s Taking Steps Against Breast Cancer event taking place at Point Pelee National Park ~ 1118 Point Pelee Drive, Leamington.    The event includes a 1/5K walk and a 5/10K timed run.   Event is also open to well-behaved dogs on a leash who wish to accompany their responsible owner/family.

All proceeds go towards breast cancer research through the Canadian Cancer Society.

 

TIME: Registration opens at 8:00 am.    Runners start at 10:00 am.  Walkers start at 10:15 am.     Best Dressed Dog contest will start our day.
Early Bird Registration Fee: $30 (until September 1st) Regular Registration Fee: $40 (after September 1st) .   Family rate also available.

NOTE:  Registration fee waived for children with $50 and adults with $150 in pledges.   Park Entrance fees are included with your registration as well as food, beverages, participant medal and entertainment.
