ESPN suspends Britt McHenry after video of parking lot tirade goes viral

ESPN suspended reporter BRITT MCHENRY for one week, after video of her going off on a parking lot attendant hit the Web.  And it’s easy to see why they took her off the air.  She goes full-on MEAN GIRL on her victim.  It’s really kind of infuriating.

It all started because Britt’s car got towed in Arlington, Virginia

The video ends with her saying, quote, “Lose some weight, baby girl.”

This happened on April 6th, and the attendant, whose name is Gina Michelle, had been trying to get the media to see it ever since.

After it went viral, Britt apologized . . . but not to Gina.

She said, quote, “In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things.  As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road.

“I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”

(Wow.  I’m gonna stop short of calling this woman the WORST PERSON ON EARTH because, you know, she didn’t commit a mass murder or anything like that.)

(But damn . . . where does that kind of BILE come from?  Does she have deep-seated issues that need to be worked out?  Or does she just think she’s THAT MUCH BETTER than other people because she’s pretty and on TV?)
