Garth Brooks Breaks More Records
Garth Brooks has broken the State Farm Stadium attendance record in Glendale, AZ. On Saturday, March 23rd) he played to a sold-out crowd of 77,653. The previous record was held by the Final Four basketball tournament, set on April 1, 2017. He also set a new entertainment record for any single night performance in the history of Arizona.
During a press conference, Garth joked about offering some advice for filling State Farm Stadium, home of NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals, in the future.
“I got to rib (Larry) Fitzgerald a lot, you know, because we do have the record over the Cardinals, which I was very proud of. And so I told him – I said, ‘You know what your problem is, Fitz?’ He goes, ‘No – what’s my problem?’ I said, ‘You only put 22 people on the field. We’ve got 10-thousand out there on the field!’ It’s fun!”
This is the second stop on The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour. On the first stop on March 9th, Garth broke the attendance record in The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.
In other Garth news, the superstar has now gone vinyl with his Legacy project.
