Garth Brooks’ Stadium Tour will kick off this weekend with the first of many sold-out shows beginning at St. Louis’ The Dome at America’s Center on Saturday, March 9th. Garth is just getting used to playing such massive venues with regularity, something he tells us makes him anxious.

“It’s a big ask for an artist to ask people to show up like that. So I’m nervous, scared. The thing is trying to figure out how to make a stadium small. The whole hope and thought is to turn that arena into a honky-tonk.”

The Stadium Tour is already making history in cities around the country, breaking attendance records like the one he set on Thursday, March 7th in Gainesville, FL. His April 23rd show there at the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium now holds the record for largest crowd of any non-athletic event with over 75,500 tickets sold.

So far, all of Garth’s stadium dates have sold out, setting new records at each venue.
