Garth Brooks Kicks Off Stadium Tour
Garth Brooks launched his Stadium Tour over the weekend in St. Louis, playing for more than 70,000 fans on Saturday, March 9th.
The crowd was treated to a long list of songs that included fan favorites, chart-topping hits and deep album cuts – starting with “The Road I’m On” and “All Day Long” from his forthcoming album FUN!, Garth and his band burned through 30 songs. Trisha Yearwood also made a surprise appearance.
The St. Louis audience got to see his team try out all sorts of things as they launched the tour, which Garth has said will run for the next three years. He said each show will be tweaked and changed to be better than the one before it.
“What they’ll mark this as is, ‘It’s the night that wouldn’t end.’ It won’t be this set-list ever again. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t. What works where. In my head, I’ve got my notebook and I am taking notes with everything that’s going on. And the goal is to kind of beat each show with the next one.”
Garth’s Stadium Tour rolls on to Glendale, Arizona on March 23rd. So far, he has announced five shows and all five are sold out.
