Jason Aldean Says Country Music’s Future Is Bright
Jason Aldean predicts that country music’s future is very bright. Based on the newest crop of up-and-comers, he tells us that the genre is in good hands.
“I look out and I see guys like Luke Combs. I see Ashley McBryde and Maren Morris, Kane Brown. A lot of talent and a lot of future, you know? It’s cool to see people that love country music and want to take it to the next step. The thing about country music is it’s gonna change. The way we do it now, this generation’s gonna do it a lot different from now. We do it a lot different from the guys that were before us so I think those guys are doing it right. I think there’s a bright future in country music. It looks good and hopefully, they let us keep being a part of it for a while.”
On Sunday, April 7th, Jason was awarded the Dick Clark Artist of the Decade trophy at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. It was presented to him by his idol and previous Artist of the Decade, George Strait.
