Eric Church Co-Wrote New Keith Urban Song
Keith Urban says that when he went into the studio to record his new single, “We Were,” he had no idea that Eric Church was one of the writers. And when he contacted Eric, he had to remind him which song is was.
“He obviously writes a lot of songs, ‘cause when I texted him and asked him, ‘Are you a writer on ‘We Were?’’ And he said, ‘Is that the one with something about a water tower skyline or something?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, that one.’ He said, ‘Yeah.’”
“We Were” was written by Eric Church, Ryan Tyndell and Jeff Hyde. The same three writers wrote “Springsteen” for Eric.
