Kelsea Ballerini Returns To The Opry
Kelsea Ballerini will return to the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, August 6th for a performance.
An official Opry member since April, Kelsea said that even as a kid sitting in the audiences with her mom, she’s always wanted to spend as much time there as she could.
“It’s the kind of thing even as a fan you walk in the room and you’re like, ‘I get it.’ You just feel it and I knew that even as a fan I wanted to be a part of the Opry. I just wanted to be there as much as I could and they invited me to come sing my debut single before it was even Top 30 and I just remember thinking like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is the coolest thing’ that had ever happened to me at that point, but then when it happened I was like, ‘I just want to . . . everytime they ask me, like, I have to come play here.'”
Kelsea has been working on a new album, the followup to her 2017 release, Unapologetically. Her latest single, “Miss Me More,” recently topped the country charts.
