Luke Combs Sets New Records
Luke Combs’ charts his sixth consecutive Number One hit this week with “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” which tops both the Billboard Country Airplay chart and the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart.
This is Luke’s fastest-rising single to date, hitting Number One in just 13 weeks.
At the same time, Luke’s double-Platinum certified debut album, This One’s For You, is Number One on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart for the 44th week, marking the longest reign ever for a male artist and second-longest for an artist overall following Shania Twain’s Come On Over in 1997 (50 weeks).
This One’s For You is also the most-streamed country album of 2019 so far.
Luke is also encouraging future generations of country singers too. He posted a clip of a toddler singing part of “Beer Never Broke My Heart”.
