Chris Young Celebrating Record Year
Chris Young is celebrating a record year on the road. Ticket sales have shown that he has played to over 400,000 fans in 3 countries in 2019.
The headlining tour, which started May 5 in the UK and wrapped over the weekend in Lexington, KY, covered 35 states across the U.S.
You’ll see Chris on NBC as he will make an appearance on the Macey’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But he said the holiday is also an important time to spend with his family.
“So, the turkey every year is on me now because last year I decided ‘Hey, I’m going to cook the turkey’ and I’m going to do everything. And my mom saw me doing it and was like I don’t have to do this anything. So, now that job has fallen to me. And, it’s a lot of prep work. And, it’s a lot of fun when it gets finally done. You take it out of the oven, and everybody gets to carve into it. It’s pretty cool.”
