Jason Aldean Returns To Vegas
Jason Aldean heads to Las Vegas this weekend for three back-to-back shows at Park Theatre at Park MGM. This marks the superstar’s first full headlining shows in Sin City since the tragic Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting in 2017.
Fans have been anxious for Jason to return to Vegas to play a full show, but he said he wasn’t in a rush.
“We always wanted to go back and do that when we felt like the timing was right, and we had an opportunity to go back out and not do one show but do three, do it in a smaller setting. There’s gonna be a lot of people at that show that were at Route 91 and some of those people may not have been to a show then, you know what I mean, so the smaller the venue I feel like it kind of maybe makes them a little bit more at ease, it’s a little bit more intimate. I don’t know, just to me it felt like the right setting, the right time to go back and do that.”
While Jason said he and his band and crew are happy to be back in front of the Vegas fans, playing in that city will always be bittersweet.
“You know, we’re excited! It’s gonna be a little weird. We’ve obviously been to Vegas since then but to play a show . . . I know there’s been a lot of people kind of waiting for us to come back out there to do that and we’re excited but it’s . . . I just think it’s gonna be a little odd for us every time we go there, and I’m not saying that we’re not looking forward to it, cause I really am. I mean, there’s always gonna be a little bit of a different vibe, I think, around shows, any show that we ever play out there.”
Jason Aldean: Ride All Night Vegas begins on Friday, December 6th.
