Brad Paisley Thinks New Single Makes Perfect Sense Today
Brad Paisley’s new single, “No I In Beer,” wasn’t specifically written for this crazy time we’re living in now with the coronavirus and everyone self-quarantined, but it seems very fitting for these days.
He co-wrote the song in 2018, but Brad said, it makes perfect sense today.
“This song, which wasn’t written for this pandemic, but it takes on new meaning for me when I hear it now, and I just feel like life sort of sucks right now in some ways and we gotta do what we can to get through this, and if we’ve ever felt unified as Americans, as citizens of the world it’s in the fact that nobody loves what we’re going through but everybody’s willing to do what we have to do and one of those things is let’s be a team; let’s be a drinking team, and that’s what we are right now.”
In keeping with the spirit of his song, Brad plans to host virtual happy hours and continue performing live stream concerts in the immediate future. Over the weekend, he crashed several Zoom get-togethers with fans as part of his Paisley Pub Crawl.
