Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, and Dave Matthews will perform on Saturday, April 11th at 8 pm at the digital event and fundraiser, At Home with Farm Aid.

The streaming show — which will also feature performances by Nelson’s sons Lukas and Micah — will feature the artists all performing at their respective homes.

The show will air on AXS TV and online at FarmAid.org. The performances are taking place to show “support and solidarity for family farmers and ranchers.” Willie Nelson said in the event’s announcement.

“Times of crisis give us each an opportunity to make a difference, in big ways and in small. We truly understand that not everyone is in a position to offer financial support right now. If you are able to give, family farmers sure could use it and are grateful for any amount. And if you’re unable to give to Farm Aid, we hope you might be able to invest some of your food dollars in the farmers and farmers markets in your community.”

Farm Aid began in 1985 with the aim of providing assistance to poor and needy families in rural farming communities. John Mellencamp told us the success of the concert festival can be found in the fact that show is ever evolving.

“It is a continuous effort. I think that Willie has shown, and the organization has shown is that they’re here for the long haul, and it’s just not a media stunt of any kind, or a thing for a corporation to flex their muscles for a day.”
