Travis Denning Trying Carpentry
Travis Denning has picked up a new skill while quarantining at the Kentucky home of his girlfriend’s family, and his girlfriend just happens to be 90’s country star John Michael Montgomery’s daughter.
Travis is in the midst of his first carpentry project with some help from John Michael, who said he’s pretty impressed with things so far.
“I’ve actually been literally building like a little drink table for the stage when we get back on the road. I’m a very amateur craftsman, as in this is my first project ever, (laughs) and it’s looking pretty cool. I’m gonna have like my logo on the front that’s gonna be cut in like steel. It’s gonna be a metal sign, and I’m gonna like backlight it with some red LED lights and just kind of have this cool little spot on stage set my Jack and Diet Coke.”
Travis is in the Top 10 and climbing on the country charts with his debut single, “After A Few.”
