Jon Pardi Says Wedding Changes Worked Out For The Best
Jon Pardi and his wife, Summer, had to shift gears and greatly scale back on their wedding plans due to COVID, but Jon said it actually worked out for the best.
“It was really small and romantic and I think that was actually . . . like, instinctively like not be married I was like, ‘We’re gonna have 350 people,’ (laughs) you know, and obviously we couldn’t do that. When you have like your core group of people that you’re always around and you’re talking to everyday . . . It felt more like a wedding than just a sh** show get-drunk-and-throw-up wedding thing, you know? It came off really sweet and we worked really hard to get there.”
Jon and Summer tied the knot on November 21st at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
They were originally scheduled to get married over the Memorial Day weekend but cancelled it due to the pandemic.
The newlyweds said they hope to celebrate with family and friends in California, Texas and Nashville sometime next year.
