Luke Bryan Knew “Down To One” Would Be A Hit
Luke Bryan recently topped the charts for the 26th time in his career with his latest single, “Down to One.”
The song was co-written by Luke’s good friend Dallas Davidson, and Luke said he knew the song would be a hit.
“‘Down To One’ is a real like typical song of mine that you kind of expect from me from the years. First time I heard it — it’s written by one of my dear friends Dallas Davidson who I’ve had a lot of success with as a co-writer with through the years — it just sounds like a big ole hit. Guy and a girl out there, in the middle of nowhere enjoying a moment together, a romantic moment, and I always feel like you gotta have those on an album.”
“Down to One” is on Luke’s latest album, “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here,” and a deluxe version featuring six new songs will be released on April 9th.
