In 2020 Tim Hicks & Alan Doyle teamed up on a brand new version of the Newfoundland folk classic ‘The Night Patty Murphy Died’.
Inspired by the original version that was released by Great Big Sea in the ’90s, Tim & Alan aimed to make a version that showcased some of Tim’s rock influences while keeping with the traditional sounds of the East Coast.
