Country Songs Top The Billboard Hot 100
For the first time in history, the Top Three positions on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 are country songs.
This goes back to 1958 when the chart launched.
The three songs are: Jason Aldean’s “Try That in a Small Town” at Number One, followed by Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” and Luke Combs’ “Fast Car” at #3.
Jason’s no stranger to the Hot 100. He’s been on it 40 times, but this is his first stint at the top.
His previous high was “Dirt Road Anthem”, which went to Number Seven in 2011.
The Hot 100 chart use radio airplay, audio and video streaming, and selective sales data.
