Megan Moroney’s Latest Single Is Based On A True Story
Megan Moroney released an acoustic version of her wildly popular track, “I’m Not Pretty.
“As a songwriter, I’ve always loved the stripped-back version of songs. I feel like people are more likely to pay attention to the lyrics and I think it’s a pretty funny story. I’m excited to have this one out.”
The song is a follow-up to her first #1 “Tennesee Orange” from her album “Lucky” and is based on something that happened that involved an ex.
“It is a mostly true story. You can actually find the spring break throwback picture on my Instagram, but it’s also not meant to be taken too seriously. I think everyone can relate to somebody keeping tabs on them on social media. It was really fun to write and it’s fun to sing and hopefully it will become an anthem for the girls.“
