Country Stars Who Dated Pro Athletes
Taylor Swift might not be a country star anymore, but she’s supposedly dating NFL star Travis Kelce.
And she’s not the first artist to go down this road…
1. Carrie Underwood. She and Tony Romo dated for a minute in 2007. Then she got together with NHL star Mike Fisher a year later. They’ve been married 13 years and have two kids.
2. Jessie James Decker. She added that last name when she married former wide receiver Eric Decker in 2013. They had their 10th anniversary in June.
3. Jana Kramer. She was married to NFL tight end Mike Caussin for six years, from 2015 to 2021.
4. Kimberly Perry from The Band Perry. She was married to former MLB catcher J.P. Arencibia from 2014 to 2018.
5. Lorrie Morgan. She dated Hall of Famer Troy Aikman in the early ’90s.
6. Ashley Monroe from Pistol Annies. She’s married to former White Sox pitcher John Danks. They’ll celebrate their 10th anniversary next month.
One more honourable mention: Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks. Between 1998 and 2004, he did spring training with the Padres, Mets, and Royals.
