Lady A’s Charles Kelley Talk About Sobriety
Lady A stopped by the “Today Show” this week, and during the interview segment, Hoda Kotb asked Charles Kelley how his sobriety is going.
“It’s been a new adventure. I know that sounds cheesy, but I lived one way for so long and I’m finding so much more purpose. I’m connecting to my spirituality like I never have before, and the connection with my family.”
He said that his old ways were exhausting and NOT fun, but now he’s “loving his new lease on life.”
He added that his sobriety has also had a positive effect on the band.
“I think it naturally wants us to be more honest with our songwriting.”
Lady A also performed their song “Love You Back”.
