Dolly Parton Wore Bedazzled Clothes While Making “Rockstar
Dolly Parton’s latest album “Rockstar” album is out tomorrow.
Ann Wilson, who helped her on a cover of the Heart classic “Magic Man” recently talked about what Dolly brought to the project.
Recording sessions can take forever, so Dolly showed up wearing sweats and sensible shoes, right? Nope. Ann got the “full Dolly” experience.
“She was dressed to the nines, wearing all these bedazzled jeans and just like everything you could possibly wear, she was wearing, and looking good.”
You also won’t go hungry when you’re in Dolly’s world. Ann added,
“She brought her nutritionist, and they had this big spread of Mediterranean food and laid it out for everybody.”
In a different interview, somebody asked Dolly what’s next. She said,
“I don’t know yet, but I don’t plan to do another rock and roll album. I did 30 songs. I think I left enough to where they can do every kind of compilation known to man long after I’m gone from this world. So I think I’ve done it, and I hope I did it well.”
One last thing. Dolly’s version of Queen’s “We Are the Champions / We Will Rock You” will be a major part of NBC’s coverage of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
