Jason Aldean Talks “Try That In A Small Town” Music Video
Jason Aldean is still fiercely defending his “Try That in a Small Town” song and video.
He believes those who have a problem with the video “haven’t looked hard enough” at it.
The clip features vandalism and rioting by people of all colours and races.
There is ONE thing he would change, though. He wouldn’t have used the Maury County courthouse in Columbia, Tennessee as a filming location.
He didn’t know it was where an 18-year-old Black man was lynched by a mob in 1927.
“I don’t go back a hundred years and check on the history of a place. It’s also the place I get my car tags every year. It’s my county that I live in. He adds, quote, “[But] knowing what I know now, I probably wouldn’t have filmed there.”
