Mark Chesnutt To Return To The Stage After Heart Surgery
Mark Chesnutt underwent emergency quadruple bypass heart surgery only one month ago.
As he recovers from the procedure, the country singer shared the news that he will soon be returning to the stage.
On Chesnutt’s Instagram on Tuesday, July 16, the singer revealed that he will perform at a concert dedicated to Country Music Hall of Fame and Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member Dean Dillon on October 9.
The performance will be part of “Songs and Stories of Dean Dillon,” which is set to take place at the Von Braun Center Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama.
The program will be filmed for a TV special that is scheduled to air a short time after the performance.
Meanwhile, Ashley McBryde and Zach Top recently did an impromptu acoustic cover of Mark’s “Bubba Shot the Jukebox”.
