Justin Moore’s Kids Think He’s Embarassing
Justin Moore has four kids ranging in age from seven to 15, and they all kind of get to varying degrees that Justin is a celebrity and a lot of people know who he is.
But to them, Justin is just “dad,” and the fact that he’s famous does not impress them.
He said it actually has the opposite effect.
“It really just kind of annoys them when we’re at Cracker Barrel or wherever and people come up and want an autograph. They’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, Dad, please.’ I’m like, ‘What do you want me to do?’ I remember my oldest daughter had a field trip and I just happened to be off that particular day, and I go, ‘Oh, I can go. You want me to go?’ She’s like, ‘No offense, but no, Dad, I really don’t. You’re embarrassing.’ I’m like, ‘I’m embarrassing?!’ So, I just like, hung my head in shame. I’m like, ‘Okay.’ She’s like, ‘Well, no, it’s not you, but you know what I mean? Like people come up to you in front of all my friends. It’s just embarrassing.’ And so, I’m like, ‘Okay. I guess I’ll stay home then. Whatever.’”
