Brett Young Is “The Love Song Guy”
Brett Young has released his fair share of ballads in his career.
Some people have even dubbed him the love song guy, and Brett sais he’s okay with that because it was the love songs and the ballads that set him on the path to the career he has today.
“The reason that I fell in love with country music way before any of my friends in Southern California was because of the love song. The reason that my first concert was “Boys to Men” was because of the love song. I’ve always been a hopeless romantic and kind of a dork about it. So, it’s flattering and exciting ’cause it wasn’t intended. You know, we didn’t go into this and go, you know, we’re gonna put a whole record together, but we’re only sending the ballads to radio. That wasn’t the plan. It’s just kind of the way it worked out. And so, I love that tag and I’ll take it all day long.”
