Nursing Home Staff Dresses Up Like Deer So Residents Can Go Hunting
A nursing home ‘ home on Manitoulin Island got creative to keep their elderly residents entertained and happy. Someone said they missed being able to go hunting. So the nurses used Christmas trees as a makeshift forest . . . dressed up as reindeer . . . and let residents hunt them with Nerf guns.
The Wikwemikong Nursing Home on Mantiloulin island recently shared photos of their staff dressed as deer and moose.
The team of woodland creatures pranced through a room of Christmas trees in a heartwarming game as the Nursing home residents were encouraged to “hunt” the frolicking staff members with Nerf guns!
“We heard it was open season so we gave it a SHOT,” the nursing home posted on Facebook.
