[WATCH] Good Samaritan Helps Send A Man Home For Christmas
A guy in Houston, Frank Richardson whose 63, saw a homeless man holding up a sign that said he was trying to get back to Alabama. That man’s name is Doug Phelps.
So he stopped to give him five bucks . . . found out he was trying to get home to see his family . . . and offered to buy him a bus ticket.
Now the video is going viral because of how happy the guy is when he finds out he’s going home.
After purchasing some fast food for Doug, who hadn’t eaten in days, Frank invited the grateful hitchhiker to assist him on another charitable errand, taking his visually impaired friend grocery shopping.
Once their good deed was done, Richardson drove Doug to the bus station, bought him a ticket to Alabama, and sent him on his way.
Frank says Doug called him and said, ‘Frank, I can’t believe that I’m home, with my family, sitting in front of a Christmas tree. I can’t thank you enough for that.
Frank said “My father always told me, ‘To whom much is given, much is required,’ and I’ve always lived by that and the belief in doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Santa’s “Nice” list just got a whole lot nicer.
